Blessed to Bless (B2B) utilizes its unique model for capacity building, the BUSINESS MODELING FACILITATION APPROACH (BMFA) to empower and facilitate the youth to initiate and sustainably manage small income generating businesses. Under funding of Taraja Resource Network, Inc, we have piloted the model with an association of 25 young unmarried mothers in Burera district, Rwanda, where we delivered weekly training sessions in #Leadership, #Gender Empowerment, #Goal Setting, #Entrepreneurship Training, #Business Planning and Management. Throughout the process, ISHEMARYACU association created a SAVING AND LOAN FUND (SLF) from which members get loans to initiate small income generating businesses, while they also planned and implemented a “Bull Rearing and Selling” as their communal business. Based on the model's positive results, B2B is determined to replicating the approach with more youth associations to help create more income generating initiatives for the unemployed graduate youth.

Our Business Modeling Facilitation Approach (BMFA) is not just about creating future business owners. This starts early in the process of our partnership with youth associations where our beneficiaries initiate a Saving and Loan Fund (SLF) to contribute monthly savings with which the members of the associations obtain loans and initiate individual small businesses.
In 2022, our partner association, Ishemaryacu, initiated the SLF through which members obtained 600K+ Rwandan Francs in loans and initiated more than 20 individual businesses, while others used the loans to return to school.

The #Gender Empowerment and #Leadership training delivered to our partner association "ISHEMARYACU", which translates, “Our Pride”, created confidence to 7 of the association's members who, after the training, decided to go back to school when they had dropped-out after getting pregnant.
